If anyone’s life is a perfect representation of this quote, it would be Suzanne Lucas. And for those of you that know Suzanne, you are probably laughing right now.
Artistic, inspiring, talented- yada, yada, yada. Yes, Suzanne is all of this. But if you want to get down to the nitty-gritty of a person, you have to look deeper. This is where you’ll find a depth of a heart that is endless, a soul full of fire and spirit, and a laughter that can spread like wildfire.
And all of this comes out in her work.
A writer, filmmaker, director, editor and actor, Suzanne is a self-made talent. Winner of the judge’s choice award at the 2010 Springs Ensemble Theatre Short Film Festival and a featured filmmaker in the 2010 Rocky Mountain Women’s Festival, Suzanne’s film shorts has gained a wide popularity, clocking over 82,000 views on YouTube.

In her most prestigious project to date, from over 80,000 submissions worldwide, Suzanne’s work was selected to be featured in “Life in a Day”- a Sundance feature film directed by award-winning director Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, State of Play) and produced by Ridley Scott ( Black Hawk Down, Gladiator). Life in a Day is a film that meshes over 4,500 hours of footage into a 94-minute film. As described by Suzanne, “If you’ve ever stopped and just sort of paused for a moment and thought I wonder what's happening around the world right now. This gives you a glimpse of that.”
