Maya DeLeina is an Erotic Vampire Romance Author published with Siren and Evernight Publishing, with an much anticipated new series to be released by Ellora's Cave in 2013. Her current series includes Ambrose Heights Vampire and My Naughty Vampire.
Maya is The Vamp at The Four Seduced Muses. The Four Seduced Muses are made up of 4 erotic romance authors who believe in the power of seduction and choose to embrace it and enjoy our sensuality for all that it's worth!
With theatrical book trailers that bring her vampires to life, Maya and her vampires were featured in Singer/Songwriter Jill Cohh's music video "Blessing Moon".
What the critics are saying...
"...I absolutely loved Ms. DeLeina's new universe. I finished reading, craving more. My mind reeled and my body yearned for the tantalizing pleasures in Flesh Fantasy. My only negative comment about the story is that there wasn't another book...yet. Read Flesh Fantasy and be transported into a fantasy world of erotic sex, deceiving plots and laugh out loud humor. This book does not disappoint!" -- Moonflower, Whipped Cream Reviews
"...I must say that Ms. Maya DeLeina knows how to hold your attention and I will gladly wait for her next release… and the next book from this series. It deserves 4.5 stars." -- Dolce Amour, Booked Up Reviews
"...This is my first book by Ms. DeLeina but it won’t be my last. The well written storyline and romance in the love story made me want more... I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a paranormal novel with a little twist. If you like action, love, and lots of hot action, this is the book for you." -- Tina, Two Lips Review
"...All in all, Maya DeLeina deftly weaves humour, hot loving with some hidden horrors all wrapped up in one erotic, lusty bite. The stage is set. The game begins. And the stakes are higher than ever at Ambrose Heights. A book to get your teeth into before the sun comes up." -- Sassy Brit, Alternative Reads
"I found that the characters were simply marvelous; the story was intricate and complex; and the world building was exceptional and inventive. I found myself lost in the tale. I was up until 5 am and had to force myself to go to bed, but lay awake just thinking about the story." --Molly, CBLS
"Readers get ready for a delicious, super sexy and dramatic read. Ms. Deleina does a great job blending the preternatural with the everyday human world we’re used to." -- T.S. Peters, JERR
"This author is a woman who knows how to write a creative steamy-hot love scene, I mean whoa!" -- Jet, BD Reviews

I know you were trying to get to your friends, so I thank you for the few minutes you could spare. I bought your books and it make me want more and more to see you again. Sex should be something that is privately shared between to loving partners in a marriage united under the eyes of god. The content you openly display is something sacred between a man and a woman and you put it out there like nothing. You have the nerve to sell your looks that god gave you in this life to push your pornography which is so disturbing as a woman. This is so disappointing to find.

Maya,
I would like to say I'm proud to know you as an author and my friend. For those of you cowards who attack her and her work should really look into your own lives before you start slinging mud at others. If you don't like what she writes, then don't read it. Don't actively go searching for it on the Internet. She makes no secret that she writes erotic romance. What did you expect to find? Another Fifty Shades of Grey that you could jump on the band waggon and say you read?
And loveslife? You are ashamed she is from YOUR town? Who are you to judge? What she writes is NOT porn, it's erotica/erotic romance and there is a HUGE difference.
Sunshine_flower really? Her books are what causes child pregnancies? What a joke! Just another excuse from people who haven't got a clue that teenagers aren't sexually active because of what they read. Maybe if their PARENTS took the time to be PARENTS instead of giving them computers, iphones, ipads and every other form of electronics and just let them be kids instead of mini grownups, there would be less teen pregnancies.
For those of you who keep bringing up religion in this should really crack open that Bible of yours and start reading. Jesus would never do what you are doing and you KNOW it. You have NO RIGHT to judge her or anyone for that matter.
Once again for those of you too dim to get it, if you don't like this kind of erotica or erotic romance then don't read it, don't go searching for it online and don't go attacking people with your hate. It's not becoming and as a woman I find it very disgusting that other women would run around trying to tear down another woman. Shame on all of you.
You keep doing what you are doing, Maya. Your fans and friends are here to support you and the sales of your books continue to skyrocket.

How were you brought up to think this is material to be proud of? I'm sure that your family is proud of you as their daughter but I can't imagine them being happy about what you choose to write. I also worry about your husband and children, if any, and what they think about what you do. I understand that views are individualistic, but writing openly about sex is not worth of any praise in any normal social setting. You are a beautiful woman with an amazing gift and talent to write. You should look at different choices in life to apply your skills. Please dear, I hope you have a good head on your shoulders to shield your children from this.

I respect your opinion, but obviously you haven't read any of her books at all. Just because there is sex between those who are not married...yet...doesn't mean they don't love each other or ultimately do get married by the end of the book. As another writer of romance and erotic romance in particular, I can tell you that it's a requirement for there to be a happy ending which usually means the couple gets married at some point.
These books are for ADULTS and of course we wouldn't share them with children. WE go out of our way to make it perfectly clear the material is explicit and for adult eyes only. So I find it very hard to understand why some people go out of their way to find the material and slam it when they haven't even read one word of these kind of books. Well let me rephrase that...they don't ADMIT to having ever read these kind of books.
That's fine and it's their choice to not make it known they read these materials, but to then make a big show out of being "offended" is really ridiculous. And I am in no way saying those who have commented here are all of that type, but I'm sure there's at least a few of you.
Maya writes about vampires but by these comments it seems that part is okay, just not the sex. Well, sex is a beautiful thing between consenting adults. Just because YOUR religious beliefs tell you it has to be done under specific conditions doesn't mean you have the right to tell others that their ideas are wrong.
Again, I challenge all of you who condemn Maya and her fellow erotic romance writers to think long and hard about what you are doing. Would Jesus approve of your hate? I think not. As He has told his followers by treating your neighbor as you would have others treat you, you will fulfill all of the commandments given by God. If you continue to sling mud and hate, the same will come unto you.
And for the one who put down "you are degrading women" Really? How so? By showing that women can have a sexual side and be strong and independent? How the hell is that degrading? The only way you can make this comment is if you never read one bit of Maya's work which is most likely the case.
Have all of you jumped all over Ann Rice for her erotica novels? They have been re-released again and are on the shelves at Target and many other retail outlets. How about EL James? Have you set up book burnings and online slamming campaigns against the author of Fifty Shades? Or have you jumped on that crazy train and will be first in line when the movie comes out?
Enough is enough. If you don't like the material, don't read it. Don't search for it. Don't buy it. The more you complain and the more nasty comments you make, you are only making others want to see what all the hoopla is all about and making sales of Maya's books and all the rest go through the roof.
My 80 year old grandmother gets a kick out of the fact I write erotic romance. She's read my books and giggled through all of them saying "my Tammy wrote that!" The idea that Maya's family wouldn't be proud of her for writing what she writes is silly and to imply she wasn't raised "right" because of what she chooses to write is once again leaping to conclusions without knowing any of the facts.

Maya was at PJ's Bistro this weekend with some friends and I watched her the entire time she was in the restaurant. She was full of life. She was laughing, talking, making conversation with other patrons in the restaurant where the entire place suddenly felt like a big family dinner. When she was leaving, I stopped her and got a chance to have a conversation with her. I asked if she knew everyone in the place. She smiled and said "No, but I just made new friends". What a wonderful attitude this woman has. Maya is a very down to earth, kind and fun person. I think before you attack a person, you should know who they are. It is one thing not to like her work, it is entirely another thing to pick on her as a person and be just plain nasty. Trust me, if you met Maya in person, you would see this wonderful glow around her and notice that everyone around her lights up and it become a big old family party. Maya, keep on smiling, laughing and being you. Write your stories. Make the world a happy place.

A lot of religious Christian people do not know their Bible. For those who have a Bible at their side let me suggest that you take a moment to turn to the "Song of Solomon" .. just after Ecclesiastes and before Isaiah. It's a short chapter by the guy who is recognized as the wisest king. It won't take you long to read it .. if you can take the erotic language. The author of those words had, "seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines . . ."
The word "Porn" .. just means sexual love .. no big deal .. just something that every married couple share .. and many unmarried share.
Why is it that in the Church culture so little understanding is taught about the subject of sex? It is a means of control. If more of you would individually research the sex subject and embrace yourself as a sexual being that can be taught to experience greater depth and joy in a full-filling relationship .. there would be less divorce and other the other problems that is associated with your drama.
Maya may not be your choice in romantic authors .. but she's not forcing you to read her books. Try to keep things in perspective .. Jacob had four wives .. the mothers of Israel .. and nothing is said about Jacob having a sexual problem .. in fact .. his having multiple wives was considered wealth. So if that is the case .. most married American men are to be considered POOR.
Many .. maybe 80% of the women today will have a frustrated sexual experience in life because they nor their lover partners do not know how to bring a woman to climax. You are not a man .. if you do not know how to bring this fulfillment to your woman. Learn .. go into the bedroom with your mind and engage in the experience .. you will come away feeling better about yourself and she will make you the man of your dreams.
Have a good life!

You have a vivid imagination. I have truly enjoyed what I've read so far. You definitely know how to get the blood flowing ;)
These haters on here are a bunch of up tight discontents, that think that by ganging up on you the way they have will make you stop writing. Ignore them. I kind of feel sorry for them. There should be things in everyone's lives that should occupy their time more than trying to pick a fight, or discourage someones creativity.
The sad thing is, these are the exact people that need some steaminess in their bedrooms. Maybe if they got some hot sex they would back off. But they would be ashamed to enjoy something that deeply. Very very sad.

You have to understand that by publicly displaying this negative attention will hurt you in the end. Advertisers and media outlets won't want to be associated with you. You may think this is fun and feel some sense of power by making this available for anyone to see, but as a long-time business planner and consultant, you have just short-changed yourself from going to a small group of fans to a wider audience. Do your homework next time and consult professionals that can polish your image before you take matters in your own hands.

Maya,
Keep your gift, keep writing. Why are people saying mean things? If they don't like the content and the explicit nature of your books, why are they purchasing them? People need to remember that above all else, they should be kind. That is what is important in this life. Thank you for your kindness and your words of encouragement to me. Only a good person would take the time to say and do what you have done. <3

I have no issues with erotica and your book covers and trailers are quite tasteful and excellently marketed to readers. I do feel that by allowing these comments to be viewed publicly, however, cheapens you and your books. I understand that as an artist you are upset with comments, but this really shouldn't be for public display and needs to just be deleted once received. Other than that, keep on your craft since you are magically talented.
Name: Upset??? :) No!
Well...I think I should be very upset. I just watched the trailer for Luna and I must say...I have to go out and buy it! There are a couple of things that are very upsetting to me though. First, I haven't read the book yet and second, ALL the hateful, mean and negative posts out here. Really people??? If you honestly think that sex between two consenting adults is causing child pregnancies then maybe you need therapy. And for those of you that think lust is NOT part of a loving, healthy marriage, then you obviously don't know your way around a bed or bedroom (or a quick sneak away on the beach or the back seat of a car!). And for those of you that can even go so far as saying anything about how Maya was brought up, is way beyond me. It's been said about a hundred times but I just have to say it again...If you don't like it, don't read it. Keep your hatefulness to yourself. And BTW, if this offends you so much, please make sure you don't own or buy a televisin set, don't teach your children to read, don't let your children go to school of ANY kind and by all means, keep them under lock and key. Because the society we live in isn't all what it should be. Our children are going to learn things we don't want them to even think about until they are adults but that just isn't the case. WAKE UP PEOPLE. I live in a small town and there's days I can just walk down the street in my neighborhood and see things that no 18 year old should see. Because why??? The parents are forever way too busy to make sure they know where, what and with whom their cildren are or what they are doing. I have 2 girls of my own and let me tell you...they are wonderful, smart, talented, beautiful young women. Maybe it is because they had very good parenting growing up. And my youngest daughter reads all kinds of books (great for the mind) and believe it or not, she's not pregnant!
Keep up the awesome work, Maya...
